I remember .. "Golden Rice", by Made Kedol, 2013 3 x 300cm x 120cm.“Irrigation Temple”, by Dullah 1973, oil on canvas, 50cm x 60cm.Back on the main road we see rice paddies; sugar cane in all stages we stop to take some pictures, no laser leveling here in the paddies just a simple board laying in the muck is there only guide.A wonderful green sculpted landscape, has the "wow" factor yet it is so serene. It`s quite an arresting sight! Good music, good& batik rice fields . I tried to capture it in& . It is one of the few places on Earth made visually stunning by its main economic activity.

It is one of the few places on Earth made visually stunning by its main economic activity.... They bring the food in from across the rice field all lit by flaming torches. Everyone I met during my time there was warm and welcoming.

Everyone I met during my time there was warm and welcoming..As I sketched I realized that most of my designs gravitated towards breezy, relaxed silhouettes that incorporated the ancient technique of batik..One time I was on a long walk in the rice field and an elderly Balinese lady was making her rounds with incense and offerings for her shrines and I noticed she was wearing the most amazing batik sarong.There`s never ending ribbon development all the way but with plenty of vibrant green rice fields in between and once in the city of Solo, we go straight up the huge main street to the Danar Hadi batik museum, shop and factory.
